Canon Powershot G10 review
An expert compact camera as advanced as the Canon Powershot G10 always unleashes passions, which is understandable as its technical specifications are appealing: 14-megapixel sensor, 28-140mm stabilized lens, big 3-inch screen, RAW format etc. So "prosumers", or addicted amateurs, therefore wonder if this G10 is THE second body which will complete their equipment, in addition to their heavy and bulky dSLR, for ‘lighter’ outings. The G10 was launched as a preview at Photokina 2008, which was held one month ago.

Panasonic Lumix G1 review
Let’s focus here on the first member of a new kind, the Panasonic DMC-G1, that shows the way to micro compact DSLRs. The Micro four-thirds mount, derived from the standard four-thirds bayonet used by Olympus and Panasonic, is adapted to get to the G1’s compactedness. The G1 has interchangeable lenses, but does belong to the large family of compact SLRs. It is simply the first compact with interchangeable lenses that we have tested.

Canon EOS 1000D - Digital Rebel XS review
The Canon EOS 1000D is the Canon camera in charge of attacking the largest volume of the digital SLR market: the entry-level segment. To succeed, Canon equipped the EOS 1000D with numerous up-to-date technologies, and this seems to be the most complete low-cost digital SLR on the market to date. We had the opportunity to try it when it was presented to the press.

Nikon Coolpix P80 review
With reduced dimensions and a weight of only 365 grams, the P80 is a very compact bridge camera – therefore a multipurpose and handy device that you can take everywhere with you. Taking into account that it has no less than a 18x lens, this is worth noting !
