Resident Evil 5 will be back on June 28
A few weeks after Resident Evil 6 has been released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Capcom just annouced that the previous version, Resident Evil 5, is planned to be released on the same consoles on june 28. A “new” release that will allow players to (re)play this very typical episode, the first of the franchise that introduced “cooperation” gameplay.
According to Capcom : “Two players can team up to play through the intense and extensive campaign together, which includes boating through gator-infested swamps and exploring ancient ruins beneath Kijuju. Co-op in this game builds off of the satisfying, deliberate, and revolutionary gunplay introduced in Resident Evil 4. Friends can team up for both local split-screen and online co-op play. Remember, friendships can either be strengthened or shattered depending on how quick you are to heal your buddy with that first-aid spray.”
As the recent Resident Evil 6, this RE5 won’t be a real Remaster, but players will still be able to enjoy a Full HD 1080p resolution and an improved frame rate. The different bonuses and DLC will also be part of the game. Remember that Capcom announced back in February that Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 were all geting updates for the current console generation, in descending order. This, in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the horrific saga. Resident Evil 5 will be priced at $19.99.
