PlayStation 4 : No Man’s Sky coming in August
No Man’s Sky has been delayed, and is now scheduled for August 9th in North America.
No Man’s Sky delayed
Bad news for all the PlayStation 4 fans, who where waiting for No Man’s Sky, next huge release for Sony Interactive Entertainment after the recent (and fantastic !) Uncharted 4 : A Thief’s End. The game has been (a bit) delayed, and No Man’s Sky will launch in North America on August 9, in Europe August 10, and in the UK August 12.
According to Hello Games : “as we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special. Of course, No Man’s Sky is going to be an incredibly vast universe, more than we can imagine according to Hello Games. “A type of game that hasn’t been attempted before, by a smaller team than anyone would expect, under an intense amount of expectation.”
Let’s remind that No Man’s Sky is to be an epic science fiction adventure set across an infinite universe, in which every star is the light of a distant sun, orbited by planets filled with life – each yours to visit. Players will be able to explore never before seen worlds, discover unique lifeforms and trade, fight and survive on a galactic scale. With over 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 (18 quintillion) possible planets, No Man’s Sky’s procedurally generated galaxy gives players an unparalleled opportunity to explore worlds that no one has ever visited before.
