Honor just unveiled a brand new Note 8 smartphone, with an extra large 6.6 inch display.

A new Note 8 for Honor

Honor recently unveiled its brand new Honor 8, but the chinese company had a bigger surprise for all “huge smartphone lovers” out there : the Honor Note 8. A new tabphone that will be available in China in a few days, which comes with an extra large 6.6 inch AMOLED display, offering a QHD resolution, with 2560 x 1440 pixels. Yes, this is a huge display, but it remains smaller than the Samsung Galaxy J Max, with its large 7 inch display.


Concerning this new Honor Note 8, apart from this very large 6.6 inch display, the buyer will get a smartphone featuring a Kirin 955 octo-core processor, working with 4 GB of RAM and an ARM Mali-T880 GPU. Of course, this new Honor Note 8 will be running Google’s latest version of Android (6.0.1.), which will be covered by some homemade EMUI 4.1 software. Of course, the new Honor Note 8 is compatible with 4G LTE network.

Concerning the photo section, this new XXL smartphone is equipped with a 13 megapixels rear camera, that comes with stabilization system and double LED, and an 8 megapixels front camera. The phone also gets a fingerprint sensor on the back, a USB 2.0 Type-C connector and dual SIM support.

Price and availability

A new Honor Note 8 that will go on sale in China August 9th, for approximatively 345 US dollars for the 32 GB version. 64 GB and 128 GB editions will also be available.
