New Nokia N86
The new Nokia N86 sports the double-sliding format started by the N95. Slightly outstripped compared to the Nokia N96 from a technological point of view, the N86 has a keypad on one side, and multimedia keys and with N-Gage game on the other side. The mobile operates with the Symbian S60 system, (half way between a smartphone and a multimedia mobile), is equipped with an OLED 2.6" screen, in standard resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

Wide-angle 8-megapixel camera for the N86
The photo aspect was well-thought on the N86, as it has an 8-megapixel camera with a wide-angle 28mm Carl Zeiss lens of variable F2.4/3.2/4.8 aperture. In general, digital cameras on photophones have no diaphragm and are set on hyperfocal distance, setting which allows a maximum depth of field. This ersatz of variable aperture lets think that Nokia photophones will better figure what photography is. The N86 also has an autofocus and a built-in dual LED flash. Its built-in storage space of 8 GB can be extended up to 16 GB by a micro SD memory card.

Connected Nokia N86
To be more interactive, the Nokia N86 is of course 3G+ compatible and offers services such as Nokia Ovi with Nokia Maps for the A-GPS module (vocal instructions as an option) but also Nokia Store and N-Gage. Wi-Fi b/g and stereo Bluetooth 2.0 connections are also included.
