Bibble Pro 5 exists
We had the information and the link from a photographer in charge of communicating and making us all wait for the definite version of Bibble 5 which had initially been promised for the end of 2008, then for the summer 2009.... and it should finally be officially launched for Christmas this year ! This is going to confuse a bit more Santa who will have an other solution to choose from : Lightroom whose Lightroom 3 Beta has been unveiled a few weeks ago, Aperture, whose version 3 is expected... desperately, DxO V6 which improves the noise reduction engine like nobody else.... or now Bibble Pro 5, a software as late as it is expected to be good.

Why was it worth waiting for Bibble 5 ?
The question is : why is Bibble 5 so late ? Well, the answer is easy : the photography software editor from texas decided that its next step was going to be a major one and that Bibble 5 was going to answer all needs pro, prosumer or amateur photographer may have. Lightroom, Dxo, Aperture.... they are all great but have on thing in common : they have one weakness. Here, no non destructive local retouching, there, not enough plug-ins, here, keywording has no real hierarchy...

So Bibble 5 is now finally available in its pre realease version 5.0.0. The Bibble Labs download center can be reached here.
Yet, a few bugs still need to be fixed here and there and some tools like "Perfectly Clear" plug-in are not activated yet. But the final version should be available within hours from now.
