Gran Turismo 5 demo/contest to be launched on December 17th

This demo/contest will give players the opportunity to get a hands-on taster to the upcoming Gran Turismo 5, but il will also be the only way into this year's GT Academy.To enter the academy, racers will have to post their best times negociating a special section of a new Gran Turismo 5 circuit. If qualified in the top twenty of his country, the player will be invited to a national even, where he will race against the best Gran Turismo drivers of the country. The winner will join the elite 20 that will be taken to GT Academy 2010. Only the two best drivers will make it out of the special test of nerve and skill. From then, an intense driver training will follow from which the GT Academy ace will be chosen.

 

Players will have the opportunity to keep trying to reach the best time from the launch of the demo, on December 17th, until January 24th 2010.
