HTC has officially unveiled its new smartphone called Touch2, one of the very first of the new Windows Phone operated mobile phones. Here are the details.

HTC Touch2, first Windows phone

The new version of Microsoft Mobile 6.5 will be launched on October 6th with some new smartphones like the Touch2 from HTC. Windows Mobile 6.5 will bring a new version of Internet Explorer for mobile phones, speed sensor compatibility and the integration of Microsoft services. These Windows phones will be the result of a tight collaboration between Microsoft, the manufacturers and the operators.

So the HTC Touch2 will be among the first smartphone to embedd the new Microsoft Windows Phones platform which gathers Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, Microsoft My Phone services (backup and onlin estorage service) and Windows Marketplace, the online application boutique from Microsoft. You will appreciate that the Touch2 will be delivered with the new version of Internet Explorer Mobile which is now Adobe Flash compliant and will allow users to visit websites such as YouTube.
