1 million iPhone 3GSs sold

In a press release, Apple announces that it sold more than a million iPhone 3G S over this launching week-end. While forecasts were expecting 750.000 units, eventually as many handsets were sold as when the iPhone 3G was launched last year.

In only 5 days, the new operating system OS 3.0 for iPod / iPhone was downloaded 6 million times. Here again, people seem to be seduced by this update which puts new life into the previous generations of iPhones.
