Bing Is Not Google

Since yesterday, everyone can use Bing and perform searches on www.bing.com. Indeed, Microsoft has launched its decision search engine worldwide, and apparently Bing has no reason to be jealous of Google, it’s actually the opposite. Indeed, Bing offers a Web search, an imange search with some selection criteria such as the size or the type of image (photo/illustration), the image disposition or the presence of specific persons on the photo, an advanced video search with criteria such as the duration, the resolution or the source of the video. Bing also has a shopping engine, in partnership with Ciao.com and a cartographic application which seems more efficient than Google Maps, minus Street View, plus air view. Finally, Microsoft will launch a worldwide advertising campaign for several weeks to promote Bing.

Bing Beta still incomplete in France

It’s worth noting that in this first version, the search engine still doesn’t offer all the promised functionalities. To discover them, you just have to go to Bing USA and modify the language settings form bing.com. You’ll then be able to discover the suggestive typing, with the additional details displayed in a window next to the search results, or else the various background images suggested randomly to hide the related links. These functionalities should arrive little by little on the French Bing.
This time, here’s a real challenger for Google.
