Nvidia and Lenovo are presenting an economical mini laptop which multiplies by 10 the graphic performances compared to standard mini laptops, thanks to the graphics technology Ion that we had discovered with the mini-pc Acer AspireRevo. Thus, thanks to the Nvidia Ion graphic processor, the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 has the graphic power to support high definition and several PC games which would not run on most economical mini laptops.

The IdeaPad S12 is a mini laptop in 12-inch format equipped with an Intel Atom processor, a 160 GB hard drive and 1 GB of RAM. Worth noting: the built-in multi-touch trackpad can be a plus in the control interface. Finally, Windows XP should be available as a standard with the machine, which is only 25mm-thick.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 with its NVIDIA ION graphic processor will be available at the end of summer 2009. Its price shouldn’t go beyond 400 euros VAT incl.
