LGS technology

The new full HD TVs developed by LG are only 6-mm thick, using the Light Guide Sheet technology, that’s a record. This record is all the more impressive as it is a backlighting technology which was used, which in theory adds some thickness compared to an OLED screen, another technology which has been announced for a while, but for which industrialization seems to be problematic. The prowess of this new technology of backlit LCD is to redirect the beam of light. The space gain is of 50% compared to the previous generation.
Only 6mm-thick for this LCD HD TV of 42 or 47".
