The 3 Sony Alpha SLRs will be sold alone and in 2 different kits: the first one comprises the new 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM lens which is the equivalent to a 28-90mm once mounted on one of these SLRs; it is the simple kit. The double kit, on top of this, also includes the Sony 55-200mm F4-5.6 SAL telephoto lens. This double kit will then give a range of 28mm to 300mm without breaking. As the cameras are stabilized, users will benefit from image stabilization with all their lenses and will only have to pay it once, when buying their SLR – and not each time they buy a stabilized lens, as Sony likes to point out.
