Apple’s WWDC 2009 is sold out
All the tickets for the WWDC 2009 have been sold out since April 29. The 2009 edition sounds promising, and everyone remembers that the 2008 edition of the WWDC had seen the release of the iPhone 3G, of its OS 2.0, but also of the new service MobileMe. Apple will therefore have to do even better this year to surprise us.

Record crowds for the WWDC 2009?
While 3 000 developers had come to the WWDC 2003, they were 5 000 in 2007 then 5 200 last year. For 2009, all the tickets have been sold out for 2 weeks now, which shows that developers are more interested than ever in Apple and its technologies. Surely this has also something to do with the real success of the AppStore, its billion of apps downloaded and its 70% of profits given back to developers.

WWDC 2009: Steve Jobs, back to head Apple ?
After the episode "Steve Jobs, his hormones and Apple’s head" during which the very charismatic iPapy has announced that he temporarily retired form the company he co-founded in 1976, we had been thinking that maybe Steve Jobs would never come back and definitely leave his seat to Tim Cook ( Will Steve Jobs be back to head Apple ?). Today, things have changed apparently and the Wall Street Journal confirms his return, without giving any date though.
One thing is for (nearly) sure: if Steve Jobs comes back in June as he had announced it, he will surely do it at the WWDC. And why not do so directly on stage to announce the release of Snow Leopard and the iPhone 3G update?
For those of you who couldn’t get tickets to enter the Moscone Center on June 8, The Digital Newsroom will be there to tell you live about all the announcements made at the WWDC 2009.
