An amateur who is expert in ‘smart’ development under Lightroom and in applying effects under Photoshop with complex merging and cutting out features will hardly be likely to use those built-in effects, but what about an amateur who has just arrived in the SLR universe and would like to apply nice effects to some photos without using a computer?
