We had presented a few months ago applications such as Trapster, iRadar or AlertRadar, the latter usually being very unstable without enough members to ensure reliable alerts. Sentinelle Radar is now available on iPhone and gives access to the Warning Radar community with more than 10 000 members to date.
Contrary to its main competitors, the strength of Sentinelle Radar lies in the manual validation of the data received by users. Indeed the team itself takes care of cross checking and confirming the locations of the speed cameras so that the updates (free and automatic each time you start the app) are more accurate. This human validation ensures precision of the localization, and is a good way to fight against incorrect alerts (camera in the other side, kept mobile camera, doubloons...) which often pollute the trips of users of such solutions.
