The trend of "health" applications seems to be launched, with Microsoft presenting 3 Windows Mobile apps that deal with diet, calories or helping you to quit smoking.

Windows Mobile takes care of your health

While the latest version of the iPhone firmware (iPhone OS 3.0) offers an app to manage diabetes, Microsoft communicates on Windows Mobile applications, coming from third-party editors, that deal with the users’ health. Now, with a Windows Mobile smartphone you can follow your food intake, from diet to diet, go on a diet or quit smoking thanks to apps such as Health and Diet Manager, Keep Weightin or My Last Cigarette.
 

Health and Diet Manager, to manage feeding

To let users adopt a healthy alimentation daily, Health & Diet Manager offers a full overview of data about their health, alimentation, calculates their Body Mass Index and records the calories taken and those burnt. The application has a database with the most important types of food as well as the menus of fast-food chains. One’s own meals can also be included. Health & Diet Manager displays at anytime the objectives you’ve achieved, thanks to your personal data. Finally, the data can be exported to Excel in order to further work on them and create a true plan of action adapted to one’s needs.

Keep Weightin and body weight changes
