The Canon EOS 1D MKIII looks promising
The canon EOS 1D MKIII is the ultimate war machine – in name only – with appealing technical specs: AF with large aperture, sensor cleaning, LiveView, continuous shooting at 10 fps and sensor that extends the lens focal by x1.3, which comes in really handy for the uses generally made of such a DSLR – reporting, sports, action...

But…
… soon after it arrived on the market, users noticed a problem with the autofocus: Canon at first turned a deaf ear, then took its SLRs back in after sales service, without communicating on the type of repair required, then finally resorted to replace some of them... but users never managed to regain confidence in their cameras, and numerous professionals took this opportunity to change for Nikon as the D3 and its 25600 ISO was waiting in ambush. No EOS 1D MKIV in sight
So we were looking forward to an EOS 1D MKIV today, among all the announcements made by Canon before the PMA. But in the past few days news that came from inside Canon have killed our last hopes, because if any EOS 1D MKIV or equivalent is to come out, it will be postponed to the summer at the earliest. That’s bad news for users as well as for the company itself. The marker is still waiting for an updated and trustworthy EOS 1D MKIII, i.e. an EOS 1D MKIV. Unless Canon releases some information at the PMA held in Las Vegas from March 2 to 6... We will be there to keep you updated.
