1080p
The new Sanyo Xacti FH1 – the upscale model of Sanyo vertical camcorder in the Xacti range – benefits from a CMOS full HD sensor (1920 x 1080p). The "progressive scan" guarantees an optimum image quality. Here, the concept is horizontal. The recording rate is of 60 fps for maximum fluidity and, , like all the products of the Xacti range, can take pictures on the fly even without changing modes, while filming. Pics resolution is of 8 megapixels and the built-in optical zoom ensures a 16x focal range.

Complete connectivity
Despite a very compact format (it is simply the smallest horizontal full HD camcorder on the market), the FH1 offers a large 3" screen. It has a great connectivity with HDMI, USB and AV ports.

Slow Motion
The Xacti FH1 offers an interesting mode called "Slow Motion" which records at 600 fps in order to smoothly render movements in slow-motion. It is very handy for sports e.g. to break down a golf swing but there are numerous uses. There is an intermediary mode at 240 fps.

Neighbor of the HD2000
The Xacti FH1 has a very close brother, but in vertical form and with connections on the docking cradle and not on the camcorder itself. It is the Xacti HD2000.
