The new camcorder Samsung SMX-F34 offers standard video recording thanks to a CCD 0.8-megapixel sensor, with a Schneider Kreuznach 34x lens. Besides, Samsung is presenting its Intelli-Zoom 42x. Main features of the Samsung SMX-F34 camcorder

The SMX-F34 has a port for SD/SDHC memory card and is equipped with a built-in flash memory of 16 GB. Samsung is the first brand to apply an H.264 compression to videos in standard definition, which noticeably increases the recording time. Thanks to this compression, you can record up to 8 hours of video in standard def. With a full charge, the SMX-F34 camcorder can record during 3 hours. Finally, the SMX-F34 camcorder is equipped with a 3D noise reduction system and face detection up to 5 persons – and it has an LCD 2.7-inch screen.

Samsung SMX-F34 camcorder: compatible with YouTube and the Internet

The SMX-F34 has a "Web & Mobile" recording mode: you can define its settings so that it records in the format and resolution which are ideal for YouTube and other video-sharing websites such as the French one DailyMotion, which allows to speed up downloads. Indeed, when selecting the "Web & Mobile" mode, the camcorder resolution is automatically set at 640x480 pixels (H.264 / AAC / MP4) and optimized for use on websites.
