New ultraportable Sony Vaio P, nothing revolutionary
|
|
After a first unintentional announcement which gave information on a new Sony Vaio revolutionary computer, Sony on-line store has released for a moment the features of a new ultraportable computer, or more exactly a whole Vaio range – the first model of which is called ‘P’ for ‘Pocket’, but does not seem revolutionary at first sight.

Features of the Sony Vaio P compact laptop

For a start, the Sony Vaio P is equipped with an 1.33 GHz Intel processor and is delivered with 60 GB hard drive or 128 GB SSD flash memory with Windows Vista Home Premium or Basic OS. Given these features, you’ll notice that this ultraportable computer is high-range oriented, and it furiously looks like a netbook. Finally, the screen is rather surprising as it has an 8-inch diagonal, but displays a pretty high resolution of 1600 x 768 pixels.
Sony has not given any further detail so far regarding its price and battery life.
