The Pentax K 2000 is a small and highly affordable dSLR , that Pentax launched at the Photokina 2008. This small 10-megapixel camera is available in simple or double kit. The double kit is priced at 600 euros, and can already be found at around 550 euros! But Pentax, who was not satisfied enough with the shake it had given to the dSLR market with its wonderful K10D, has just designed again its lilliputian SLR K 2000 (K-m), giving it a white coating with some canning or black rubber.
The result is truly successful, and allows to play down the pompous or “technology-monster” aspect of an amateur SLR. This snowy look is very nice.
