Adobe ships Photoshop CS4 with the RAW adjustment engine of Camera RAW 5. Here is what's new in CR5 :
- Local adjustment brush
- Graduated Filter
- "Post Crop" Vignetting
- Opacity for the cloning/healing tool
- Improved Auto Adjustment
- Support for the new Camera Profiles that are still in beta form
So this means that for the first time since the Photoshop family has split between Photoshop CS and Photoshop Lightroom, both worlds will embed the same image adjustment tools for RAW images. Note that the latest camera profiles updated in Camera RAW for the latest CS3 update will be available in the next Camera RAW update (5.1) next week.
