Nikon Coolpix S60 with multifunction touch screen

No, you will not find a single button at the rear of the Nikon Coolpix S60 : everything goes by the touch screen.

Iphone like touch-screen comes in very handy. The Coolpix S60 is, just like Panasonic's Lumix FX500, an other application of a nice and wide (3,5" !) touch screen on a digital camera. You control the camera thanks to the screen, choose the settings, the modes, change aperture, and even pilot the zoom.

But the Nikon S60 is not only a screen ! It also offers a nice 5x zoom which is stabilised thanks to sensor shit system. The camera's autofocus may track the subject. It is quite easy : you just have to touch the screen on the subject you want to be focused and the camera locks its AF to this subject, following its movements. The S60 embeds an HDMI connexion which is useful to view high resolution images on a 1080i HDTV. It can also broadcast your slideshows that you will have created in the camera, directly, still in high definition.
