Nikon S560 : smart simple camera
As Panasonic's intelligent Auto modes, Nikon now dives in technologies that enhance the photos without asking efforts to the photographer. So, here also, with the S560, Nikon implements the scene detection : the camera analyses the situation and sets to the best mode between portrait, landscape, macro.... Red eye in camera removal is also available as well as face recognition and not only face detection with a mode where the shutter is conditioned to the smile detection just like what Sony launched a year ago.
5x optical zoom
The 5x optical zoom of this 10 megapixel camera is a 36-180mm. We had wished a wider short focal length though. It is not optically stabilised but mechanically, thanks to sensor shift.
Nikon Coolpix S560 Main features
- 10 megapixels - 5x Optical Zoom (36-180mm) - Mechanical VR - Smile detection - Face recognition - Auto Scene mode - 2,7" LCD screen with 230 000 pixels
