This new Macro lens, made of two glass elements is a very simple and light optical tool which will now allow the DP1 to shoot subjects as low as 20 to 33cm

Its Super Multi Layer treatment eliminates most of the flare which may be a problem with these optical lenses. The AML-1 will enable to shoot macro photography with a maximal reproduction ratio of 1:8,2. Sigma also launched 2 new filters for the DP1 : the PL and UV.
