Bibble Labs announced the availability of Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite. Version 4.10 adds support for eight of the newest digital SLR's: Nikon D60, Canon Digital Rebel XSi (450D), Sony a200, a300, and a350, Pentax K20D and K200D, and Olympus E-420. This update also adds lens calibration data for 14 new lenses and fixes several minor issues found in previous releases. Version 4.10 is the last planned update to Bibble Lite and Bibble Pro before the launch of Bibble 5.

Since the release of version 4.0 over three years ago, Bibble users have received over a dozen free updates. Many of these upgrades added major new features like digital noise reduction powered by Noise Ninja technology, Perfectly Clear One-Touch image optimizer, a RAW-level plug-in interface (with plugins available for watermarking, image framing, B&W film simulation, image toning, Zone System control, perspective correction, graduated neutral density and graduated color filter simulation, selective defocus and many more), automatic lens distortion correction and speed increases. “With RAW Power, RAW Speed, RAW Quality as Bibble Labs' core principles, each update and improvement has been designed with these goals in mind.” says Eric Hyman, President and CEO of Bibble Labs. As announced last year, customers who purchase version 4.10 will receive a free upgrade to Bibble 5 when it becomes available.

Incorporating feedback from thousands of photographers, Bibble 5 will set new benchmarks for ease of use and speed in the realm of photographic workflow software,” continues Hyman. “Working with a familiar, yet fresh interface, Bibble 5 users will obtain the highest quality output from their photos, through a rich and mature suite of editing tools that provide an unmatched level of control. Fully utilizing today's multi-core computers, Bibble 5 will push the envelope of image processing speed to levels well beyond any other competing application.”

Bibble 4.10 is available in both “Pro” ($129.95) and “Lite” ($69.95) versions for Windows, Macintosh (PPC/Intel as a Universal Binary) and Linux. Visit http://www.bibblelabs.com for further details and to download a fully functional 14 day trial version. New licensees of Bibble 4.10 will also receive a free upgrade to Bibble 5, once available later this year.
