Panasonic HDC-SD9 : Best 2008 digital camcorder

TIPA members have chosen the Panasonic HDC-SD9 to be their choice as a quality camcorder for 2008 and with this choice, we can say that they emphasized the image quality : the SD9 is a 3-CCD based camcorder renders an image just like no other single CCD can do. It is, of course, full HD and records the movies on a SD or SDHC card. Panasonic also launched a 32 GB SDHC card earlier this year : this would be the perfect complement to this camcorder. But the SD9 has also a lot more to offer like Dolby Surround 5.1 sound, face detection, intelligent shooting guide, a large 2,7" LCD screen and a nice Leica Dicomar lens with an optical zoom of 10x and Panasonic now well-known Mega O.I.S.
