Adobe is a really serious software editor but the way they launched Lightroom 1.4 and Camera Raw 4.4 leaves us with an other kind of feeling.
Did they want so badly to get some buzz after the launch of Apple Aprture 2 that they launched these updates without checking i twas 100% reliable ?
Actually, three issues may happen to you with your Lightroom 1.4 update :
Exif time stamp of your pictures may be wrong, DNG conversion under Microsoft Windows may be faulty and finally, some problems may occur with JPG files from Olympus cameras.

Therefore, Adobe, through their Lightroom journal blog, strongly advices users to uninstall Lightroom 1.4 and Camera Raw 1.3 in order to go back previous versions like Lightroom 1.3.
