MICROSOFT XBOX 360 Microsoft to cut XBOX prices by 30%

Microsoft's XBOX 360 prices will be cut by 30% in Europe in order to deal with growing threat of Sony's PS3 with embedded Blu-Ray drive.

Microsoft's XBOX 360 prices will be cut by 30% in Europe shortly. As soon as on March 14th, you will be able to purchase an arcade version of Microsoft video game console for as low as 199 Euros incl. VAT. This price cut is intended to help XBOX facing the wild competition of Nintendo's Wii but also to answer to PS3's threat. With the death of HD-DVD formats, most potential HD players buyers may now go for a Blu-Ray drive. And as the PS3 is both a video game console and a Blu-Ray drive, and actually, one of the cheapest one, there are great chances that PS3's sales will boost this year. The only weapon Microsoft has found to face this issue, is a simple, but substantial, price cut of the XBOX 360.
