Nikon has just released a new firmware version (V1.92) for its best selling prosumer camera : the Nikon D300.

Nikon D300's new firmware is now available for download on Nikon's website.
This V1.92 firmware update simply fixes a little bug : banding could occur on long exposure times like more than 8 seconds. If you don't use these slow shutter speed that much, we don't really advise you to install the new firmware as this is always a tricky and risky operation."
