Of course, regarding connectivity, the N96 offers the full range of Wi-Fi, BT, EDGE, HSDPA 3G+ and so on with a new generation of USB connection said to offer quite high transfer rates.

The design of the N96 remains on the same base as the N95 with a double slide-up keybord : one for phone functions and one for all other PMP functions. But the appearance of the N96 is much smarter than what the N95 had to offer. Its large QVGA LCD screen is a 2,8" and its 16 Gb internal memory can be upgraded with microSD memory cards.Actually, with the 16 Gb of internal memory, you can record up to 40 hours of TV programs.
The availability of the Nokia N96 is announced for next Summer 2008.
