Canon EOS 450D will be sold, in Europe, 849 euros (incl. VAT) for its body only. One kit with the optically stabilized EF-S lens 18-55mm IS will be sold at 949 euros (incl. VAT). These prices are quite higher than the Nikon D60's price tages and this shows the gap there is between these two cameras : the Canon EOS 450D offers much more (Live View, better aAF etc.) but at a higher price (almost 200 euros more).
