The differences between these two Nikon digital cameras are in the sensor : 7.1 megapixels for the Coolpix L16 vs 8 megapixels for the Coolpix L18 but also in the screen. The L18 has a 3" screen and the L16 a 2.8". Both have a Nikkor 3x zoom. Thus, the two compacts have close specs while offering choice between a standard and an improved comfort of use thanks to the screen.

Price and availability of Coolpix L16 and L18

|
Both cameras will reach the market in March, and will be available in two colors : black and silver. Prices are not known yet.
