Indeed, Apple TV, guided by a remote on the screen, will be the link between the user and iTunes.

Any functionality of iTunes is here: multimedia content purchase like music or movies but particularly the new functionality iTunes Movie Rentals: high definition and 5.1 sound Dolby Surround movie rentals! Today, 100 high definition movies are available and numerous others are coming. They will cost one dollar more than in standard quality, between USD 3.99 and 4.99. European prices will be soon communicated.

What is wonderful is that for whom that has already bought the Apple TV box, these new functionalities will be available thanks to a free update, available in the US within 2 weeks and a bit later in Europe. Its official price has been reduced, it now costs USD 229 (USD 299 previously).
