The Apple TV finds a new image at the Macworld after the announcement of a new direction regarding this multimedia box: movie rental, music purchase, high definition, and surround sound, everything without needing a computer but directly on your TV screen. Indeed, Apple TV, guided by a remote on the screen, will be the link between the user and iTunes.

iTunes and iTunes Movie Rentals on the Apple TV

Any functionality of iTunes is here: multimedia content purchase like music or movies but particularly the new functionality iTunes Movie Rentals: high definition and 5.1 sound Dolby Surround movie rentals! Today, 100 high definition movies are available and numerous others are coming. They will cost one dollar more than in standard quality, between USD 3.99 and 4.99. European prices will be soon communicated.
