the EX-Z100 is a compact digital equipped with 10.1 megapixels, a 28MM wide angle lens with a 4x optical zoom. It has a digital stabilizer, "Anti Shake DSP", that reduces blur increasing the camera sensitivity and the shutter speed,. It offers a 2.7" LCD Super Casio screen that should allow an optimal image control thanks to its huge contrast and vision angle.

Auto Shutter and BestShot

The EXILIM Zoom EX-Z100 offers the Auto Shutter, which is now a standard on Casio cameras; that allows an automatic release as soon as the camera detects a smile (if the camera doesn't move). The smile detection can be useful also for self-portraits, the camera will release the photo only if your smile is detected and focused. The BestShot allows an automatic detection of the appropriate scene: figures, lands, night, close-ups or moving object. Finally, As for the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z80 and EXILIM EX-Z200, video recording can be made in H.264 viewable in 16:9.

The Casio EXILIM Zoom EX-Z100 will be available March 2008 in different shades : blue, gold, brown, pink and silver. Its price is not public yet.
