Carl Zeiss's Cinemizer are video glasses especially designed for mobility, compatible with multimedia walkmans that have a video output like iPod or others mobile video players.

Carl Zeiss's Cinemizer, mobile video glasses

Recently introduced at Macworld, the Cinemizer Video glasses have two tiny screens in behind each glass that offer a 640x480 pixels resolution and a quality close to cinema. The very close viewing distance provides an equivalent to a 40" screen seen with at a 2 m distance. They should be compatible with the main video walkmans, mobile DVD players or video game consoles.

However, Zeiss Cinemizer glasses are firstly designed for iPod : if needed its battery can power the iPod. It has a 4 hours battery life and should be compatible with the iPhone soon.
