The Taiwanese computing material manufacturer Gigabyte is aunching in Europe its lastest PDAphone Gsmart i 350 with an integrated GPS Garmin and a touch screen.

The Gigabyte Gsmart i350 is the first PDAphone based on with a Garmin Mobile XT browsing system. This one is combined with a GPS chip fitted out Sirf Star III. That makes the PDA Gsmart i350 a personnal digital assistant and navigator technologically updated. The 2,6 inches touch screen is showing a 640 x 480 pixels (VGA) resolution (notable for this size).

Otherwise, the Gsmart i350 is equipped with a Marvell PXA270 processor with a clock speed of 520 MHz and a RAM of 64 Mo. That provides the power needed for Windows Mobile 6 Professional. The 2 megapixels camera is equipped of an autofocus system and the i350 is compatible with miniSD and SDHC memory cards. Finally, Bluetooth and particularly Wifi b/g are on board.

Price and availability of Gigabyte Gsmart i350

Gigabyte presented the GSmart i350 last October in Taiwan. In Europe, the PDA is only available in Spain, Italy, Portugal and may arrive in France soon. Its price should be around EUR 500 euros (inclusive of all taxes).
