This is an impressive 13,9x, corresponding to a 27,5-383mm, that offers the 455 grams only smc 18-250 Pentax lens. This will abe a nice addition to a K10D of K100D Super. In order to achieve this result, Pentax has used ED glass as well as aspherical lenses. This allows the lens to lower the distortion and chromatic aberrations. It has been build in 13 groups of 16 elements. Its Kaf mount offers a better image stabilization with integrated Pentax CCD shift technology giving better information to the body. This "28-400mm" lens should be quite successful among Pentax D-SLR users but also among all others loving bridge cameras with wide ranges.
