Launched in 2015, the Apple Watch seems to experience difficult times in recent months. A few weeks ago, it was the Instagram application that disappeared from the Apple Watch, an application that has been around for the first few days, but which obviously did not meet the expected success on the little Apple watch, or the less, not enough to encourage Facebook to keep it up to date.

Today, we learn that the last pop-up store dedicated to the Apple Watch will close its doors in a few days. Indeed, if the shops of Paris or London have already closed at the end of 2016, Apple still had some shops in the world, in Shinjuku, Tokyo. However, the latter has just announced that it will also close its doors as of May 13th.

Remember that in France, the pop-up store Apple Watch was located in Paris, Galeries, at the stands Kenzo, Chanel and Hermes. Obviously, the very concept of these pop-up stores is based on “ephemeral” shops, but it seems nevertheless despite the turnover, too low, prompted Apple to close these outlets.

Recall that the Apple Watch is also at the heart of a battery replacement program. Some users have indeed had the unpleasant surprise to see the battery of their connected watch inflate. On the Apple side, we obviously decided to react, and the Californian group has set up a new replacement program. Unlike the one offered for the iPhone, the Apple Watch Series 2 is completely free, and users concerned can gracefully replace the defective battery. Note that this program is intended for 42 mm models, including the declensions Sport, Edition, Hermes and Nike +. It remains to be seen now what future Apple reserves for its Watch, which could be presented in a new form at the end of the year. Patience, then.
